Stop The Bleed

Attendees will learn techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out:
(1) How to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound; (2) How to pack a wound to control bleeding; (3) How to correctly apply a tourniquet
Course Outline: Review a power point presentation reviewing statistics; Demonstrate techniques on how to stop arterial bleeding, review approved devices & items design to stop bleeding; Demonstrate how-to apply devices/items; Have students practice on props & show proper application & efficiency; Question & answer period at the end.
