Police Jiu Jitsu: Breaking Down Turtle/4-Point Stance - Jason Rebsch & Jay Gauker
This scenario-driven course teaches the use of Jiu Jitsu based control tactics to manage combative, non-compliant subjects. Students will learn to systematically break down a subject’s base, establish hip and 4-point control, and transition into dominant pins that allow for safe and effective Handcuffing under active resistance.
The course emphasizes positional control, leverage, and pressure —not strikes—to gain compliance while minimizing risk to the officers and subject. Tactics are taught through high-repetition drills and resistance based positional rounds designed to simulate real-world arrest and control encounters.
